PRESS: Cbank could fuse instant payment system with corp messenger
MOSCOW, Aug 21 (PRIME) -- The Russian central bank is discussing integration of its instant payment system with corporate messenger Seraphim, used for secure communications in state and big companies, business daily Vedomosti reported on Wednesday.
“An option of payments in the system via messengers was initially laid into the system’s concept. We’re studying the matter at the moment,” a spokesperson for the regulator told Vedomosti.
The system enables people to transfer money by a phone number, and payment for goods and services with a QR code will be launched soon. The remittance is capped at 600,000 rubles, and other limits can apply.
